Orlando Salido, the first guy who defeated Juan Manuel Lopez up in the ring via 8th-round technical knockout victory on last April, 2011 will defend his title belt against Japanese boxer Kenichi Yamaguchi on Saturday night July 23, 2011 live from Sonora, Mexico. Salido won the World Boxing Organization (WBO) Featherweight title by upsetting Lopez with his boxing style and knocking down Lopez.
Orlando Salido was the underdog before but now he is the current champion and the fight against Kenichi Yamaguchi is the first title defense of his WBO featherweight belt.
Kenechi Yamaguchi won his last two fight by unanimous decision victory in the bantamweight division. He will fight for the third time outside on his country Japan. He lost once and it was a long time ago but he will be tested again against the veteran one Salido.
