Sharif Bogere (20-0, with 13 knockouts), the undefeated boxer in the lightweight division from Uganda, East Africa clashed with Raymundo Beltran of Phoenix, Arizona on May 13, 2011 for their 10 round lightweight match. It was a great closed fight but Bogere escaped from a unanimous decision which three judges scored 97-93 and twice of 96-94 for Steve Farhood and Curt Menefee of showtime
favor to the undefeated fighter. The fight goes to distance but both fighters exchanged hard punches and results to bloody fight.
Beltran (24-5, with 16 knockouts) as we remember, it was one of Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao sparring partner. The Mexican fighter was a very talented fighter and maid good fight always. Beltran's loss was not a big deal for it was a challenge to him. Hoping to comeback in his next fight as many boxing fans wanted him to be a champion for the future.
